I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about
the whole PP concept, and about how it's been mostly well-received on the gunner side, but so poorly on the gay side.
He suggested that if the glbt* leadership dislikes it so much, it could be largely because if something like the PP suddenly appears of out of nowhere, totally unanticipated to them, spreads to approx. 40 cities in just five years... well, it means that the _soi-disant_ 'leaders' aren't really _leading_, and that the gay intelligensia aren't even smart enough to anticipate what basic turns the GLBT* movement will take, fundamentally. Who would want to find out that sort of thing? There may be a lot of painful ego-popping going on over there...
