Hello all, On 365Gay.com, Sergeant Judy Nosworthy of the Toronto, Canada police department has a column that she writes. I just want to share her latest, it's her observation that widespread stress is causing people to behave irrationally and violently. Her earlier columns are also interesting reading. www.365gay.com/lifestylechannel/Judy/040405judy.htmCougar

Well, IMO, yes, that's PERT of the equasion, the OTHER part is that MANY, MANY people are becoming CRITICALLY deficient in Omega 3's - among MANY othe things, it is also a "mood regulator", (not you, Cougar, talking to anyone reading this( Do YOU have poor impulse control? Well, you MIGHT just be a jerk, but far more LIKELY, you don't eat fish that is NOT "farm raised", spinach (3x/day, 7 days/week), or flaxseed or MUCH walnuts that are not "baked". IOW you are deficient and this is a BAD thing, depending upon your genetic makeup and your personality you might be ADD/ADHD, you might develop MS, RA, Lupus or one of the MANY Auto-Immune diseases, maybe Parkinsons, maybe Parkinson's - the possibilities are virtually ENDLESS. Oh, and GUESS what a lot of STRESS DOES, biochemically? Uses up large amounts of.... yep - Omega 3's! Imagine that

It just occurred to me that I haven't had any spinach lately, though I do like it very much. I usually steam it and give it a dash of balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle it with sea salt. But the flax seed? I don't think I ever eat that, unless it's an ingredient in something else. I think I've seen it listed as being in some salad dressings, perhaps. Oh, and I do make a fabulous baked salmon, with olive oil and sprinkled with dried basil from my garden. Served on a bed of al dente tomato fettucine with clam sauce and sharp provolone grated on top. Cougar
