The gay blog towleroad (http://towleroad.typepad.com/towleroad/) mentioned a review of the soon to be released movie Flight 93, at www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=23144. Judging from Capone's review at aintitcool.com, this movie is likely to generate quite a lot of discussion. I found this remark from Capone to be interesting, "he (writer/director Paul Greengrass) shows us that the passengers on that flight were not heroes before they stepped onto that fated flight, but collectively they knew that dying as helpless, cowardly pawns was not an option." That's how it is for those of us who carry weapons of self defense.....Cougar.......

;)Heh, I figured out how to mess with the space/time continuum and now this thread has the correct title! If I hadn't mentioned this, some of you wouldn't even have known. Now I can have my popcorn and eat it too. ;D
Washington Blade Online has a review on United 93, and they tell us...http://www.washingtonblade.com/2006/4-28/arts/film/united.cfm
"One of the passengers on board was Mark Bingham, a gay man and ex-rugby player, who joined three other men in a desperate attempt to change the plane’s trajectory away from the U.S. Capitol. Gay actor Cheyenne Jackson plays Bingham with a stunning mixture of emotional vulnerability and ferocity." Did you all know that one of ours was on United flight 93? I had heard this years ago already. Someday I'll go to that field in Shanksville Pennsylvania......Cougar.....

I agree with you SS. I have deep respect for the people on board flight 93, but I don't feel I could stand to watch the event. I'm pissed off enough at terrorist and our idiot president and the knuckle head Rumsfield (sp). How anyone could send our army into battle with anything less than the best protection available is beyond me. Thank gawd pres. Bush and Rumsfield (sp)are out of office soon.
