Chonla,
As a lifetime resident of Ohio, I have to tell you that Kent State University is warped beyond any possiblity of ever being fair and even-handed on this issue.
The only way to correct it would be to bulldoze the whole place flat and leave it lay fallow with all access prevented for 200 - 300 years.
When the incident actually happened I was growing up among a large group of WW II and Korean War vets. They wanted the National Guard Court Martialed too. Not for shooting the students, though, but for getting so few hits at such short ranges!

Thing is I cannot find this kid (young man?) that was doing the organizing. If I could get ahold of him, I've got SEVERAL ideas to help him in his endeavor... including on hooking him up w/the Second Amendment Club in Athens  |
