Has anyone noticed that some kinds of ammo are drying up?
5.56 X 45 has been somewhat tight for some time, not much good surplus out there, choppy supplies of anything but softpoint.
Now 7.62 X 39 is tight, at least temporarily. Someone was just talkign about this on another list, and I did some checking.
AIM and Century show NO 7.62 X 39 in stock right now!
Centerfire Systems has ONLY russian commercial production available.
SOG shows Olympic (Greek) boxer primed and Yugo '70s production surplus on stripper clips.
Still out there but all at least $0.10 a round now and no where near the choices there used to be.
Anyone have any calibers they have been watching they can report on?

Due to recent financial issues, I haven't gone out to pick up any 7.62x39mm for some while now (yeah I know it's usually cheap ammo, but I usually go through an entire 1000 round pack in one or two days.) I've mostly just been shooting .22 and 12g lately.
