I meant because I'm not gay. I have a jerk on one board who believes I'm a Black Jewish lesbian who is converting to Islam, but alas, I am an celibate Christian white chick.

Ha! I work down in those tropics and let me assure you, it's not that bad. Coming home to Michigan, now that's cold!

Man, Al, mine had that a couple weeks ago. Any day that starts at 2:30 am with someone announcing they just threw up on the couch is likely to only improve from that point on, right? Luckily, I never did come down with it. We thought they maybe had food poisoning, but couldn't think of what they'd eaten that I hadn't.
Glad everyone's feeling better now.
Btw..did you see my new "avator" over on cpl? Heck, I have an entire thread dedicated to me. It's so nice to be loved! ;D
You missed a good day shooting today..how come you didn't come down???

THR avoids controversial arguments because their purpose is guns. I don't see it as tacit approval, and I don't see a problem with people defending their positions, which I do all the time in women-bashing threads, and in the kill the towel head threads and the evil gay sinner threads. You just have to make a valid argument without being too much of an ass in the process, which is kind of tough for me, personally, but I manage.
It's not as if they shut down threads where people are arguing about gays and leave up threads where they're arguing about LEOs. Pretty much anytime things start getting controversial, the thread is locked down and I'm fine with that. There are other boards where you can go and argue all you want, but that isn't one of them.

Why wait to see what happens? If you need a chapter, start one!

I'm a member of Big Gay Al's Big Gay Gun Group (aka: The Michigan Chapter.)

I know Alan Gottleib and can write to him about the site once it gets up and running a bit more. I know SAF has been working with the SF PP chapter over the proposed gun ban there.

Well, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork on THR now. I think I'd best be quiet over there or I'll end up getting the thread locked.
Believe it or not, I sometimes have a hard time keeping my attitude in check. ;D

Eh, I've been carrying for a while. I've recently (last 4 months) taken to using a belly band more days. I usually carry a P232. The belly band works ok. In the winter its not as tough. In the summer, its more difficult to keep it concealed. Even with the belly band, there's still lumpiness. I've done SOB and it works, but I try to avoid it for the reasons you've mentioned. I refuse to wear suspenders. Fashionable I ain't, but even I have limits.
