That where a active imagination comes into play there Buckshot. I'll be shooting in a match today with the Mosin Nagant, dreaming about fighting the nazi hoards . Now if I can just keep from getting run over by the T-34s

The barrel is 1/7 I ran M193 though it and it grouped about 1 moa. Didn't have any SS109 to try but maybe Bullitfest.

There pretty much two main problems with gas rings....if they are worn you replace them [$2 and about 30 sec] or if the opening in the rings get lined up with each other and you get gas leaks.......That's the only thing I think they could be worried about. And with all the AR's I have I have never had a problem.

which is to bad for my lame shooting abilty.

Kacer has only seen a pic of her baby so far. It's a monster of my building from spare parts left over from about 3 different projects I've done over the years. I tried to get as close to M4forgery as I could [without needing a tax stamp] I'm taking it out to the range tomorrow to test fire and sight it in. And if all goes well it will be ready for her by the weekend. of course I going to take it apart again so she learn about her new baby first hand....

Hmmm.... I guess I'm not following you... I think you're speaking "straight" can you "gay it up" a bit? (Seriously, I didn't follow what you were asking. Do you wanna post pics, but don't know how? (that I can answer) Or you wanna know what optics are on the ARs I posted the pic of? (For that you'd have to ask StonerStudent, he's the techie on the firearms, plus they're his ARs... and even IF they were MINE I'd know they are: "good ones" "lousy ones" or "okay ones" not XYZ company's ABC fiber optic whizbang 123 sights"... I'm a gun RIGHTS nut, not so much a gun nut ) And I didn't get the bio thing at all. Spaceman thought they were your rifles boss, and wondered why you posted pics but didn't get in to detail Oh and Boss....you do know that when I get all the parts for your AR together....you will have to put it together right?

i cant get used to the filter on the reflex. Yep it's a pain.... every once and awhile the RO's use green targets in the match and I lose the target all together.. luckly I can just switch to irons [scope and irons co-witness] and I just keep plugging along.

Sounds like your FSB pin holes are drill off center, I had that problem with a M4ish barrel I bought at a gunshow.I ended up taking it to a smith and having the barrel recut.
Maybe Tweak knows a better fix, he is the Trouble shooting Guru ;D
