I beleive LLAMA/Bresa makes the Firestorm. Actually, the Firestorm/Llama/Bersa are made by various companies in Spain and/or Argentina. The Firestorm/Llama 1911 for example is made by Fabrinor Legutiano. What it gets called here depends on who imports it.

Thanks for the welcome guys and gals. To answer Cougars question my Firestorm was apparently made in Argentina. That is what it says on the back of the manual anyway. I am no expert on guns, but I would not recommend the Firestorm brand to anyone. Mine jammed from the start. I have been waiting forever to get it back. Poor quality gun + poor quality customer service= No return business from this ticked off lesbian. It feels so good to vent. ;D

I had a few small problems at first, but found most of my problems were related to ammo brand. I have the Firestorm Gov't Model, basically a 1911 clone. It works fine with most .45ACP FMJ ammo, but it does not like CCI Blazer Brass ammo. So far, the most reliable ammo has been American Eagle (Federal). I did have to polish the feed ramp a little, but that was an easy operation. (Dremel tool is your friend!!!) Right now, I'm looking at changing the rear sight and maybe getting it refinished in either nickel or chrome plating. Did you try different ammo brands with your Firestorm?

We have to start a new thread.....When bad guns happen to good people. It's been my experience, you can get a bad gun from almost any manufacturer. What really matters to me is customer service. How easy are they to work with, and how quickly can they return your product. Usually, it's best to work through your local gun dealer. They can and usually will handle communcations with the maker.

I think I'm disqualified for this thread; I was in the business for most of the 90’s so my collection is… shall we say… a bit over-large. Heavy on S&W revolvers (hey I just like the old-school stuff) and the .25 and smaller rifles (hence the name). Uhm…last count was about 65 pieces. Not bragging just amazed that I had the time and money to acquire them…<br> Now my pretties! What shall we get next?

i've been 'simplifying' my arsenal a bit.
now i'm down to just one pistol, a kimber tle ii. one shottie, winchester 1300. one mauser m98 one yugo mauser m48a and lastly, my new favorite: colt 6721 ar15a3
in the last 12 months, i have sold off my steyr m9 and m40, aa arms ap9 and ap9mini, traded a cz52 for an enfield, sold that enfield, bought and sold a para p12, bought and sold a ruger mark 2, and sold a marlin papoose. if i get my mauser m98 stock replaced, i'll probably sell off my yugo mauser as i like the m98 better.

nice to see someone else using the Sage Industries sights on their SGN. I think they're the best.

Single! Awww Kacer!. That's sweet! But my heart belongs to another.
Wait for it.
Here it comes.
I’ve been married since 1992.
Ouch. Still feels weird to say it, as a blue haired punk rocker back in the ‘80s, I can safely say that this was never supposed to happen, but there you go.… wifey and I have been together since ’89. Can ya’ believe it?
But if it’s mindless gun porn you’re into, well heck I can do that. Like I said, I have no idea how I ever came to own so many guns- other than I was in the business for about 7 years back in the ‘90s and man, did I work that discount hard. At one point I was wondering if it would just be easier to be paid in guns, as that was where most of my paycheck was going anyway.
*sigh* I miss those days... when did I grow up?
