Bah, humbug. Sorry. On top of the already serious virus I've had for the last 3+ weeks that has robbed me of my voice, given me a hacking cough, and put me in a bad mood. NOW I have to catch some 24 hour thing that makes stuff you eat come right out, one way, or the other.

Everyone took turns with the 24 hour bug. First my youngest had it. Thought it seems to have hit him the weakest of all. He threw up a couple of times, and that was it. Then it hit my oldest, just a little be harder. He threw up about half a dozen times. This was on Wednesday (Jimmy 5) and then Thursday (Joe, 7) nights. Last night it hit both me and the wife at almost the same time. She had it the worst of all. Me, I was over it, for the most part about 11:30PM. That's when I got hungry all at once.

Sorry to hear that. Seriously - you and your family SO need to eat more shiitake, miitake and/or reishi mushrooms. they all contain very effective anti-virals, and help boost the immune system as well as aid the body in producing more "interferons" which basically "interfere" w/viral reproduction. (Hence the name ) The substance(s?) in these mushrooms are MORE EFFECTIVE than the FDA APPROVED anti-viral "Amantadine <weg> (like I'm surprised.... NOT!!!) If you eat just a BIT 2X/week should suffice. And keep the viral bugs at bay.

Man, Al, mine had that a couple weeks ago. Any day that starts at 2:30 am with someone announcing they just threw up on the couch is likely to only improve from that point on, right? Luckily, I never did come down with it. We thought they maybe had food poisoning, but couldn't think of what they'd eaten that I hadn't.
Glad everyone's feeling better now.
Btw..did you see my new "avator" over on cpl? Heck, I have an entire thread dedicated to me. It's so nice to be loved! ;D
You missed a good day shooting today..how come you didn't come down???

The wife is still sick, so I had to take care of the boys. Then again, I have to "take care" of them even when she's not sick. So, for me it was just a normal day.
I am sort of pissed though. I've not been able to go out shooting for about 2 months now. Really ticks me off.
