Congrats on the new addition to the family....I've only had one Kimber but it was a good pistol.

I'm having some feed problems when I load up the mag with 7 rounds, but only for the first round. If I use 6 rounds the problem goes away. Maybe I should look into getting some Wilson Combat mags instead.

Wilson 47 mags are the bomb, I also like Chip McCormack 8 rounders as well.

I'll check them both out. I finally have some down time so I need to get to the range and do some shooting.

The Wilson mag works well and fixed the feed problem. I also picked up a Springfield XD which has a smaller grip and is supposedly as reliable as a glock. Hope that's so because the thing is fun to shoot. The best and worst part is that I went only to shoot at the range and then only decided to look at the new Ruger 44mag with the 4 inch barrel. For some blasted reason they didn't have one, next thing I knew I was getting the Springfield. Guess I can use it for a camp gun.

Has anyone ever owned a Glock36? Most people that I've talked to like them and said their very accurate and of course extremely reliable. The G36 is a single stack and has a smaller hand grip than regular Glocks. I think I'll rent one and see if I like it more than the XD. I found out that some of the XD parts are only available at Springfield. If the extractor breaks, the gun must be sent back to Springfield for repair because Springfield will not sell extractors. I should of stayed with Glock! Maybe it's time to trade in the XD on a G36.
