The Seattle Gay News has recently featured the annual (2005) report from the "National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs" which may be found at the following page.... www.sgn.org/sgnnews34_20/page3.cfmThe report states "Overall, NCAVP's report noted a 13% decrease in reported incidents of anti-LGBT violence. Such incidents fell from 2,270 in 2004 to 1,985 in 2005." NCAVP director Clarence Patton also specifically said, "However, no one working with the victims of anti-LGBT violence believes that 2005 presents a permanent condition for our community.
