I’m not touching the clown thing with a... uhm… anything. Clowns are creepy. And that’s saying a lot coming from me. The last fetish event I went to here in SF had a rope demo by the Clown Porn Posse. *shudder* I’m not going back to that club anytime soon. www.pornclownposse.com/And I'm probably older than you think; raised in the 70's and formed in the 80's... Oil of Ole and gunsmoke keep me young...

As Cthulhu is my witness, I never meant this thread to take this direction. Ok then, while I may admit to a bit of a leather and latex fetish (ok so more than a ‘bit’) but the whole furry thing beyond me. Basically a furry is someone that gets off on anthropomorphic animals; that is animals with overt human characteristics. Bugs Bunny is a great example. Furries enjoy dressing up in animal costumes (think mascots and/or cat-girls) and engaging in sexual activity. There. I said it. For way more than you’d ever want to know; check en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furry. Discuss.

Ok so maybe not kittens per se... and 'turn-on's' is a strong word. I mean cats are cool and all that- even as my two Siamese give me the evil eye(s)... I.. I...
I guess there's really no good way out of this.
I LIKE GUNS!
and I am not a furry. Honest.

my turn on's include sunsets and kittens and people that make me laugh!... what? Wrong forum?... well darn.
Ok do over:
I’ve been shooting since I was 12. (And I *refuse* to say when THAT was.) I learned from my father, a deputy sheriff for Santa Clara County of 32 years. I managed an indoor gunrange/retail store for 7 years. I was the manager of the Class III/NFA sales for local LEO. I’m a factory certified Glock, SIG, Colt AR family and H&K MP family armorer (ok, honestly all my certification has expired since I got out of the business… but the guns haven’t changed all that much.) I’ve been in one (and that’s enough, thank you very much) gunfight and came out ok. I’m an all round good guy.
Hoooty Hoo!

but but but I thought all the Spartans were long haired manly men that slew their enemies and then made manly completely vanilla straight love to their beautiful diaphanous gowned wives?
YOU MEAN THE MOVIES LIED?!?
The fact that some of the most revered icons of the RRRR were gay is conveniently forgotten or denied; mustn’t sully the fantasy with reality. Total buzz kill.
I don’t really have a point other than, yeah, I know what you mean- it is bothersome.
Though I did try once to explain ‘molon labe’ to the wife and she totally got it. Except she applied it to her Prada shoes.

"Hey, careful, there's a "Kace" (KaceCyote) and a "KaceR", I'm the SECOND one"

The Intarweb and Merlot do NOT mix...
No seriously, I literally said "doh" upon reading that.

Single! Awww Kacer!. That's sweet! But my heart belongs to another.
Wait for it.
Here it comes.
I’ve been married since 1992.
Ouch. Still feels weird to say it, as a blue haired punk rocker back in the ‘80s, I can safely say that this was never supposed to happen, but there you go.… wifey and I have been together since ’89. Can ya’ believe it?
But if it’s mindless gun porn you’re into, well heck I can do that. Like I said, I have no idea how I ever came to own so many guns- other than I was in the business for about 7 years back in the ‘90s and man, did I work that discount hard. At one point I was wondering if it would just be easier to be paid in guns, as that was where most of my paycheck was going anyway.
*sigh* I miss those days... when did I grow up?

I think I'm disqualified for this thread; I was in the business for most of the 90’s so my collection is… shall we say… a bit over-large. Heavy on S&W revolvers (hey I just like the old-school stuff) and the .25 and smaller rifles (hence the name). Uhm…last count was about 65 pieces. Not bragging just amazed that I had the time and money to acquire them…<br> Now my pretties! What shall we get next?

Hey, I like select fire weapons as much as anyone (well anyone of us that is), but I’d definitely want a fixed stock on that sucker; I’m pretty sure I saw the rear of receiver smack that guy in the chops at least once. Did you see how low and forward his head on the stock. I’ve a older pre-ban Romanian side-folder and it’s a kitten under rapid fire- the 7.62x39mm Russian round is relatively mild in recoil, but dARn that 12ga. Looks like it would beat you up pretty good. I have a video of the one of the old Atchison 12ga full-autos, around somewhere. If someone wants to host it I’ll send it over. edited for VERY mild profanity...hey look! A filter! Should have seen it coming.

Yeah and that built in lock dingus nailed the coffin shut for me on S&Ws. It offends my delicate sensibilities and sense of style.
Oh and when they started using MIM parts really bugged me.
I specialize in revolvers from the early numbered guns (late 1940’s) to about 1992 when they discontinued the square butt guns.

Uhm... hello... my name is Chris (muted voices "Hi Chris!) and... and... I'm a Smith & Wesson revolver junky. I've been using S&Ws since... *sniff* uhm.. 1988. And I don't think I can stop. First it was J-frames... anything; Chief's Specials, .32's, .22's. It didn't matter. Then it was N-frames; the bigger the better. Lew Horton Classic Hunter .44's; Texas Ranger special edition .45LC's... Dirty Harry stuff. I know I can stop anytime I want to. Really. I can. Hey! Is that a M24? I don't have one of those!
